The children with Down syndrome have had a parent lobby and more of them are fully included than their peers with similar levels of intellectual disability. Adaptive rowing is sweep rowing (one oar per rower) or sculling (two oars) for people with physical or intellectual limitations. There were 3 boys, 2 in first grade and 1 in second grade.
